Learning is my passion, and I love sharing that passion with others. Top-tier universities in the US provide a diverse environment for in depth exploration of all types of learning. Elite colleges set up students for rich intellectual engagement, provide important business contacts, and will ultimately lead to a fulfilling career. After experiencing the benefits an elite education as an undergraduate and graduate student, I have dedicated myself to helping others achieve similar opportunities.

I labored over my college and graduate school applications for countless hours. I understand the uncertainty and stress generated by the competitive admissions process, and I work with students to alleviate some of this stress and improve the odds of acceptance. My own educational background as well as my experience working in the admissions’ office at Dartmouth College provide me insight into the science and humanities curriculum and the admissions process from some of the most elite colleges in the United States. I earned High Honors in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry as well as a Classics degree from Dartmouth College. I then went on to earn a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Structural Biology from Cornell University’s Medical College. My years of experience as an interviewer for Dartmouth College also bring a unique perspective to the admissions process.

For the last ten years, I have helped students navigate the entire application process. I work with students to create a cohesive profile of themselves that will create a lasting impression upon the admissions officers. The essays are typically the biggest challenge as few high school students have much experience with this type of writing. They are also the biggest opportunity to stand out from other applicants with top grades and test scores.

As I collaborate with students on the essays, I work to draw out a student’s personality and express it on paper. I work with students beginning with brainstorming to make sure they identify a topic that is interesting and unique. I then guide them through each step of the writing process. We work together to choose language that will most effectively convey the message and make sure the entire essay flows together. The most important thing is to make sure the student’s own voice is conveyed through the essay in an engaging way. That is what compels the admission officers to feel a connection with the student and ultimately to advocate for his or her acceptance. This helps set the student apart from the crowd and gives them an extra edge during the admissions process.

I have helped hundreds of high school seniors successfully navigate their college applications to Ivy League schools and other top colleges in the United States. Some of the schools my students have been admitted to include Harvard, Stanford, Princeton, Yale, Cornell, Dartmouth, Vanderbilt, University of Chicago, Johns Hopkins, University of Pennsylvania, Northwestern, and many, many more. I hope to help you achieve your dreams as well!
