Volleyball scholarship in America
“I decided to start my journey with UNI Student Advisors because my dream was to study and play volleyball in the United States, but I needed someone with experience to guide me through this long and difficult admission process. Moreover, thanks to the help of UNI Student Advisors I was able to get a sports scholarship, without neglecting the importance of studying”. Rebecca has found in UNI Student Advisors a valuable ally for the achievement of her goal and today she is living her American dream: she studies with a volleyball scholarship and is part of the Saint Anselm College team.
For athletes, we offer a specific service aimed at obtaining scholarships; the most important part certainly concerns contacts with coaches and the promotion of the athlete to them. Rebecca, extremely satisfied with the results, says: “It was UNI Student Advisors itself who managed the contacts with the coaches on my behalf. My counselor was efficient and on time in managing contacts. Before the Skype interviews, she always documented herself by providing me with information about the universities, preparing a set of questions that the coach would almost certainly ask me, as well as questions to ask to the coach, so I was never unprepared in front of the coaches. In addition, she always participated in Skype calls and helped me with the language when necessary”.
UNI Student Advisors operates in relation to the needs of its clients, Rebecca and her family are well aware that thanks to the efforts carried directly by our advisors who contacted the school we were able to increase the scholarship initially offered. Rebecca says: “Thanks to your contact, I got $16,000 more for my university studies from the admission committee" But UNI Student Advisors also negotiated a higher scholarship with the coach: "While my academic advisor was in contact with the admission office, my athletic advisors kept in touch with the coach, they were very convincing and got a higher scholarship from the second year of university”.
